Dear all !

Here is the first beta of my SkoBrowser mIRC multi-games (FPS) server browser.
Though the "beta status", this script is 100% usable with all features available (except monitoring not supporting players events yet) and no big bug known on my side.

SkoBrowser Beta 1

This is a must-have script for every FPS online players who are aswell IRC users because it is cumulating

advantages of a great server browser & a monitoring system for IRC.

A great server browser :
- totally free (no ads,...)
- intuitive (easy and clear GUI with cascaded menu & popup menu)
- powerful (customisable filters, players & rules friendly display ... )
- upgradable (Easy to support more games & tweak display)
- no annoying install with crap on your reg... this is a script ! add or remove the directory from mIRC and

the install is done/remove

A monitoring system :
- be warned on activity on your favorites servers
- automatically join the first server available meeting your requirement !
- be the first to join a full server as soon as a slot is free !!!
- You can "idle smart" in IRC instead of loosing your time in the crappy ingame server browser...

Here is short list of features supported by SkoBrowser :
- Over 40 recent games in this beta (5 differents protocols supported) ... The list can easily get a lot bigger with your help !!!
- Favorites (Either sorted by game or all mixed together so you have the best overview possible !)
- Master server query (for nearly every game / only CODWAW missing atm in this beta)
- Players listing (& displayed in teams if info available)
- Password support
- mIRC copy/paste : Catch IP, Paste server info to mIRC channel, Copy IP, map to clipboard...
- Powerful "find text" tool
- Monitoring system : Be aware of every interesting event on your favorite servers and automatically join them
- Game launch with custom command line options
- Map preview display
and many more...

Here are the shots :

Everything is coded in mIRC :
- no external dll used (except DCX.dll which is a -very good - extension to graphical interface dll)
- no qstat or gslist... I coded all protocols in MSL (mIRC script language) ! (Thx Luigi Auriemma for support)
- you can check the code that there is nothing harmfull for your system... (good luck as the code is quite optimised & packed)
- you can even tweak the code by yourself if you master MSL ; but please don't share modified versions...

I need help !
To release my first version, I need your help, SkoBrowser users !
- I need a site & a forum to host my SkoBrowser script
- I need fervent users to promote the script, help noob mIRC users, be my "ambassadors" as I got very low time for users support myself...
- I need game owners to help me fill the "gamelist.ini" files with default command line & test everything is OK
- I need motivated users to give me data for more games (A cool 32x32 ico and the game settings (protocol, master ...)

What to expect in first released version :- A bigger game list with data filled (default command lines, rules & gametypes) ; For that I require help of game owners...
- Monitoring part recoded (to remove the "monitoring stopped" when you use again the browser)
- A few code optimisation...
- Bugs reported removed !

My script experience :
I am not exactly new to mIRC scripting as I started coding my first server query (FavUT) in ... 2003 !
Since then I coded : FavUT, SkQ4 (Quake 4), SkUT3 (UT3) (awarded with MSUC prize) and SkUTx (all UT series) with more or less popularity according to the online community health...
Now all games are supported so I hope to have a very big user community !

Please share the good new !
Enjoy SkoBrowser
as my current projects progress, i now reached the place where dcxml is a neccesary key in order to limit my code and make it more flexible.
however, i ran into a problem (special since the dcxml docs aint finished). I want to add an image control with the source as an icon.
no matter what i try, i end up with a D_ERROR LoadGDIPlusImage (D_CERROR (image) xdid LoadGDIPlusImage xmltest 101: Unable to Access File: )
and all i tried to do was tell it to load icon index 0 from $mircexe (both with eval and manual path given, same result)
can anyone give me an example? this is what i got now on code, but i've tested nearly any combination of places where i can place the different attributes.

I have an old version of mirc that uses mdx and nHTMLn.dll to dock and navigate webpages in a "box" in a dialog. I was wondering if DCX can do this in mirc 6.35 or not. I have been trying to use the -n command listed in the documentation with no success. I'm keeping it simple to start with, and plan on adding to it if I can get it to work.

dialog webbr {
box "box", 1, 1 1 1330 954
timerd 1 1 xdock -m $dialog(webbr).hwnd +l
xdid -n $dialog 1 %home.pg
}

I used the echo from the test example just to make sure it was marking properly. It docks fine, but I keep getting this error instead of a webpage in the box...

Marking Dialog ..
D_OK Mark: Dialog Marked
D_ERROR /xdid (Unknown dialog "1": see Mark command)
Forgive me if I missed something simple, it's been many years since I used mirc and I have never used DCX so any help would be great. Also I would like to make it resizable, if that's possible.
I've tried setting all kinds of values in every 0 possible on that separator line.. help me before I go insane. If anything just give me a sample that has a horizontal separator on a vertical bar that doesnt stretch halfway across the gui.

Hello people, i have some problem with the vertical auto scrolling, it is not working, i haven`t found a bug like this in the bug tracker so i am here now:
Look i if i have something like this:

xdid -c $dname 1 edit 1 20 200 100 multi autovs
or
xdid -c $dname 1 richedit 1 20 200 100 multi autovs

I tryed using autovs and vsbar, and i tryied chaning the order of the properties but the autoscrolling have no effect, so every time a new line is added to an edit or richedit the view is on the start of the edit. and you need to down manually with the vs bar to see the new text.

I am using : "DCX (XPopup) DLL 1.4.0 Release Build by ClickHeRe, twig*, Ook, andy and Mpdreamz ©2006-2007"
on WIN7 home premium
But i also tryied the newst dep build that is in this forum, and the problem continuos.
Another thing is the LINK itme, i cant load the colors palette and the text in the link reamains underlined but in black.

I've done some testing on this, and I've found that CLA rules do not get updated on objects that are repositioned in a dialog but not resized when a dialog changes its size.

Nearest I can tell is that it's somehow not realizing the CLA rules need to be applied because the shape of the object containing those CLA rules hasn't changed. This makes sense when the CLA rules are applied directly to the dialog, but when the CLA rules are applied to a panel and the panel moves as a result of a resize, but doesn't change shape, the CLA rules for that panel do not get used and all the objects on that panel that depended on the CLA vanish.

Here's some example code (using v1.4 of the dll, mirc 6.35, Windows XP, themes enabled.)

Code:
    .timer 1 0 xdialog -l $dname update
  }
}

When you first open the dialog (/dialog -m newgen1 newgen1) you'll see all four buttons
When resizing horizontally, the two buttons in the blue bar and the gray panels holding them will vanish -- the *shape* of the blue panel does not change though because the gray panels were covering up parts of it. Those panels would normally be transparent but I left them visible to show it wasn't just the buttons vanishing.

Same goes when you resize vertically -- the bottom two buttons and the container panels for them vanish.

Changing the shape of the object containing the CLA's triggers an update and the objects inside reappear.

Can anyone else confirm this before it's reported as an official bug?
